Morpheus® Green Screen
MD1-47-GREEN

Datasheet : Download

Green Screens contain a non-covalent fluorescent dye which conveys fluorescence on most proteins when illuminated with UV light. This not only increases the signal-to-noise ratio (important for very small crystals), but also allows the identification of protein crystals lacking intrinsic fluorescence that would otherwise remain ambiguous.

This is the Morpheus® version of the Green Screen available as a 96 x 1 mL HT-Block.

JCSG Plus Green Screen
MD1-53

Datasheet : Download

Green Screens contain a non-covalent fluorescent dye which conveys fluorescence on most proteins when illuminated with UV light. This not only increases the signal to noise ratio (important for very small crystals), but also allows the identification of protein crystals lacking intrinsic fluorescence that would otherwise remain ambiguous.

JCSG-plus is the screen of choice for initial screening experiments. The most complete sparse matrix screen available today
  • Screen classic PEG and salt conditions more efficiently
  • Enhanced sampling of organics and polyalcohols
  • Includes modern precipitants (e.g. neutralised organic acids)
  • Range of salts from across the Hofmeister series
  • Survey precipitant synergy
  • Broad pH range
This is the JCSG plus version of the Green Screen available as a 1ml HT-Block.

Keywords: uv for protein crystal detection, uv protein crystal imaging, JCSG Screen, JCSG++, JCSG+ Suite, Structural Genomics Consortium, crystallization of proteins, Newman et al, Protein structure determination.
