Magnetic caps, vials and pins

These magnetic CryoCaps and CryoVials are compatible with commercial sample changers using magnetic style sample holders: (MarResearch marcsc®, Rigaku – ACTOR®, Bruker Nonius BruNo®), NatX-ray G-Rob, and with sample changers at the following institutes: (DIAMOND MX, EMBL/ESRF Grenoble; EMBL Hamburg; CNRS Grenoble - ESRF FIP Beamline; X10SA CATS sample changer at SLS ; MX and LS-CAt at Argonne and also the LNLS in Campinas, Brazil).

Pins (hollow) are also available for mounting loops.

DATA MATRIX coded and human readable code for automated sample recording.
Compatible with existing goniometer mounts.

Pack size of 50 DataMatrix CryoCaps.

(The first letter of the code identifies the manufacturer and ensures that different manufactures cannot produce the same ID.The manufacturer code for Molecular Dimensions is C. e.g.CA12BC3456).

Magnetic CryoVial™ (SPINE standard)

Rounded edges avoid potential blocking during transfers.
A ferromagnetic disc at the bottom of the vials for "positive" vial manipulation with a magnet.
Magnetic ring polarity, holds the CryoCap, locates in a EMBL/ESRF Sample Changer Basket and recovers the CryoCap from the goniometer mount.
Vent hole to avoid nitrogen pressure build up.
Manufactured to tight engineering tolerances for reliable robotic handling.
